Keto Pecan Pralines

Since the time my significant other and I went to New Orleans for our first commemoration pralines have been one of my preferred treats. I was excited to think of a low carb without sugar adaptation.

My first endeavor was acceptable, yet not incredible. Those were too crunchy. Increasingly like Candied Pecans. Those are incredible for plate of mixed greens. One of my top choices is new child spinach with strawberries, feta, and a portion of my cleaved sugar coated walnuts.

In any case, this rich walnut pralines formula is much the same as the ones sold in New Orleans. Since the time our first commemoration excursion to NOLA I’ve periodically requested Aunt Sally’s Pralines on the web. Presently I don’t need to. These keto pecan pralines are not only a tasty dessert but are also a great snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans toasted

  • 5 tbsp butter divided

  • 6 tbsp light cream (or heavy cream)

  • 1/3 cup Trim Healthy Mama Gentle Sweet or my sweetener

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla

  • pinch of salt

Directions

  • Combine 4 tbsp of the butter with the sweetener and cream over medium heat. Stir until sweetener is dissolved.
  • Cook until it is a deep golden brown. As soon as it reaches that deep color (right before burning) remove from the heat and immediately add the other 1 tbsp butter and vanilla. Stir until smooth.
  • Add the salt and toasted pecans. Drop by spoonfuls onto on wax paper. Refrigerate just until firm.
